Bluey and the Green Cord Hike (Part 1)
The lights were on. The door of the cupboard opened. I was going to be free! Finally, I was to no longer be caged up and will be treated like the God I am! Yet, as I was lifted out of my cage, I was chucked straight to another human. Great. This was going to be a long hike. I guess it wasn't anything to be worried about though. I'd been on plenty of hikes before. I hiked 100 kilometres in a day. I camped on top of Uluru for a year with no supplies. This should be simple. Unless it's the Cubs. Then I would be doomed. That's why I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw the green shoulder pads. They aren't Cubs. I should survive.
The bright sunlight streamed into my eyes as I was taken outdoors. It had been far too long.

DeleteLooking great! Just... don't go too hard on the god thing. Worship/idolization, yes, but either a) religious analogy is sailing too close to the wind on a complex subject, or b) I'm being to paranoid about political correctness on a story that only other scouts will most likely see.
...it's the second one isn't it. EVERY TIME!
Haha very true. Thank you for that but the correct answer is the second one. If anyone is offended by Bluey I can just take down the post and edit it so it's not so.... self-worshipping.
