Bluey and the Green Cord Hike (Part 2)

As the Scouts walked out of the door at 2 PM, with their large backpacks on, I readjusted my invisible golden cord and fixed up my International Scout Medallion Crown (Which was also invisible) and was subsequently dropped. On the ground. These are scouts. I reminded myself. They all have cords. It might have just been an accident. We weren't even out of the golf course yet; It must have been an accident.
Then we got out of the golf course and we started crossing roads. Please don't drop me now! I thought. I don't want to be run over!  Somehow, the blonde girl, who's name I gathered was Aimee, didn't drop me on the road but she almost dropped me a second time when we made it back on the pavement. Then she gave me to her brown-haired friend Hayley, who did not drop me. That was good because I was already dirty enough from the Leadership Course a few months ago.
We trecked through the firebreaks behind some houses and then along a road in the sun. It was getting quite hot for the Scouts (not for me as I am the Ultimate Scout and am very used to the sun), so it was a relief for them after they took an unmarked path which led them into the cover of some trees. The full shade didn't last long though, and the number of trees decreased the closer we got to the paved path, with very few sparsely spread out once we reached the path.
We followed the path for a little longer and I was tossed around a bit more (But I was ignored by the redhead boy called Heath), and we reached a bicycle path. By then we had only walked five kilometres, and they were already very tired. Luckily for them, there were only a few hundred metres until we reached Kent Street Weir, our first major rest stop. Once we crossed the Weir they all collapsed against a large rock and began to eat snacks and drink more water. After a few minutes, they realised they were more than an hour early. It worked in their favour though, as it meant they were able to get to Canning Sea Scouts early as well.
Once they were all a little more rested, the small Scout called Darien walked over to a small bookcase and browsed the books there. It was apparent that there was nothing good there as he came back almost immediately. Unfortunately, that was still enough time for the other Scout called Dion to pick me up and balance me on the top of that rock. Then Aimee put her scarf over mine and then Dion put his hat, which is apparently called Bella, on me. Then their leader, Kiwi, kept taking photos and everyone started laughing. Except for Heath. I think he just wants to get this hike done.
