Bluey and the Green Cord Hike (Part 4)

It was around half past five in the morning when all the scouts came out of their tents. They started to make their breakfast, and once they were finished that, they had to clean the hall. They couldn't completely clean the hall at the time though, as Heath was still packing his things, so they headed outside again. They packed up their tents, probably the quickest they've ever done it, and packed up their bags.
Once that was done they didn't have much to do, so they started climbing trees. That was alright until I was grabbed by Darien and taken up the tree too. Why? He put me in a fork of the tree and started climbing up the main trunk of the tree. Why? He kept climbing up towards the top of the tree, getting higher than I thought he could climb, and by the time he stopped and I opened my eyes, we were at the very top of the tree. Why? He put me in a fork up there and declared me their god. Well, yes, he was technically right, but I don't need to be fifteen metres in the air to be a god. Then Hayley was underneath the tree with her hands out.
Oh no...........
I felt the air rush past me as I dropped from the top of the tree onto the ground. WHY??
I was brushed off, and then promptly taken up another tree, on the other side of the pathway. Fortunately, they were called back in to finish cleaning the hall, so I was left alone for another half hour. Somehow, they finished cleaning it, and then they came back outside.
I was grabbed up again, and taken up another tree. Yay. Luckily, this tree was closer to the ground than the other one, but it seemed that there were no footholds. I was questioning how he was getting up, when SNAP!
Oh no. This wasn't good!
I looked up to where he was, and he seemed to be fine, so I looked down to the ground, and it seemed that Aimee had snapped off a branch from a dead tree.
"Well, now you've ruined all their fun!" Lucas was saying sarcastically (I assume), "They spent all their time killing that branch just for that and you break it!" Then they all started laughing.
Darien kept climbing the tree until he was around five metres up, and then another loud CRACK!
I looked up again to Darien but everything was still fine, so I looked down again, and hey presto, Aimee had leant on and broken another branch. Again. She seemed to give up and just came over to the tree and sat at the fork near the base. They all talked for a while, and Aimee and Darien came down from the tree as Lucas and Heath said it was time to go. Off on another adventure!
